swaped in new rear sway bar links - wow
finally took the time to replace these - picked up some new ones since the deal parts center had them in. all I can say is - wow, what a difference. I'm not talking about handling/swaying, but the noise! I thought my car just creaked and rattled at slow speeds for multiple reasons, being 35 years old. But no - all the rattling and creaking was from these two shot rear sway bar links. it sounds like a fresh new car now when I roll around town at low speed. do this if yours are loose to the feel.

Fun fact, those sway bar links are still in use for the brake compensator on the current Sprinter. Same part number.

They seem so light weight it is tough to imagine how much difference they make if gone.

Had the same thing happen on my car.
They looked fine but I swapped them in anyway. Night and day difference. Totally blew mind. |
