I've not seen many W123's anywhere near me lately at the PnP's in Northern California. Which, I guess, is a good sign?

I've had to be creative with some parts from the myriad of W126's.

My two W123's will not see a junk yard as long as I'm alive.

Sort of a good thing because on the one hand it means they're scrapping less W123's but the bad part is : so many really nice ones were scrapped because they were hard starters, almost always a simple & cheap fix .

I still see them cycling through but mostly either thrashers beyond belief or nice cars someone died and the family just wanted rid of, shoulda been saved cars in other words .

The blush flew off the old Mercedes Diesel rose a while ago .

I'd not scrap my W123's either but I fear any collision or my death because no one will want them .

I just came from there.
Ivory exterior, all body parts present.
Engine present missing alum air filter top but body present. instrument cluster present.
Missing front seats. Back seats present.
both side mirrors present.
ATE calipers.
No key for ignition.
rear tail lights good and trunk lid
