300SDL A/C compressor
I am changing the compressor out on my 86 300sdl because the old one started leaking oil. I am going to refill the system with the recovered r12, not r134a so i will need to use mineral oil. My question is can I just use freeze 12 brand mineral oil or do I need to try and source the recommended nippondenso ND-6 oil? I can't seem to find the ND-6 oil anywhere.

If you want to be strictly R12 compatible, you can refill with mineral oil. If you want to future-proof yourself, you can go with PAO oil which is compatible with both CFC and HFC refrigerants.

Ok so regular mineral oil should work instead of ND-6 oil? I have some on hand and would like to use it but dont want to hurt the new compressor.

Mineral oil works fine.
