Broken vacuum hard line
Well, it appears I snapped the black plastic vacuum hard line that goes to the transmission modulator. I snapped it right behind the valve cover while replacing the cover after adjusting the valves. I patched it temporarily with some shrink tubing and gorilla tape, but I need to do a more permanent repair soon.
What is the best way to repair it....a rubber connection between the two pieces (if so, what size) or run a whole new line (don't want to go that route and would not know where to get he line. Any suggestions or tips most welcome. Thanks

I've patched many broken lines with 1/8" vacuum line. It's soft enough to slip over the end, but tight enough to stay put without requiring clamps. Also makes a great replacement for those little vacuum connectors under the hood that are now $3.50-4.00 each.
