"Hooks" or honks? Hooks would be a good thing, in drag racing at least. To the if it honks, on a 95 e300 pretty simple compared to newer models, not much to damage if you just pull back the pad slightly with fingertips, and see if that helps. I had an 85 that on hot days would do the same if I left the windows fully closed, that worked for me, next step would be unplug horn, just remember to plug it back in before any state inspection if required in your area.

Honk
And that worked with the honking stoped, but I think I made it worse now it honks when I turn left or right continues. Disconnecting it stoped the horn, I think there is a little plastic ring on the internal steering wheel but I'm not sure if I need special tools to get to it, also I don't have a Manuel, I would just being going in to the problem free hand.
