E300 with 180,000 miles. Pools of fuel in wells. Has to be be return lines. Cut em put em on. Proud and happy I was. Started the car and was waiting for self bleeding to happen. Mistake #2. While I was basking in the joy of a job well done the car was shooting a spray of fuel 3 feet in the air. What s mess. The fuel looks like it is coming from the center of the nut for the fuel line. Pulses with the engine. I could not get a good look without getting a face of fuel. Now it's on my shirt, pants and hair but I was able to keep it out of my eyes. I did undo and retighten the fuel line nut. I don't think it's the return lines in that it sprays with a lot of force from the nut line connection.Mistake #1 was thinking the plastic tubing going to the turbo was flexible. Broken pipes I can live with. Spraying diesel might be a problem with neighbors as work are smells like a truck stop. Any help is greatly appreciated.
