Springs
What are we diesel guys using for lowing springs on these W126 diesels? Most everything only lists gasers. Thanks.

I don't think that a difference in gas and diesel engine weight is so big that it would require a different spring

When I lowered my w124 diesel, I used H&R springs and Bilstein Sport dampers for a gasser, and it turned out ok. Height was perfect, ride was great, and even got to drive it on a track once lol.
Based on my experience with the 124, I would guess if there are no W126 diesel-specific lowering springs/dampers, the V8 gas parts should work fine. I would think the V8 would be close in weight to the I6 diesel. |

The v8 is lighter but that should not matter much.
