Fascinating. My assumption that the fuel supply was at fault for the mixture problem. But it seems that the intake manifold and the installed gremlin - EGR - are providing the necessary elements for low rpm shakes, rattles and smike. This board is one of the best classrooms of all time.

THAT'S IT!!!!!! THANKS PSFRED....it was the EGR valve! I had my mechanic disconnect the line and plug it and the car is running like brand new. Big thanks to all those who helped with this problem.....I'm glad to get my car back.
