Just sharing an enjoyable diesel experience
Made the 150 mile round trip from NJ to our distribution center in Baltimore this week in the 300D. I usually take a Nissan Altima rental.
These cars really love the open road. 75mph, AC running cold, Becker Europa blaring talk radio, my $50 drinkholders.com zebrano wood cupholder filled with a tall diet coke, and a pack, or two of cigarettes. It doesn't get any better than this. These cars are soooooooooo great. JCD |

ALWAYS.........................
I always get just about dead on 25 mpg. This is true on the highway, in town, commuting, stop and go traffic, whatever.
The nice thing was that diesel was $1.21 per gallon on the NJ turnpike. JCD |

Which is supposed to get better gas mileage, the turbo or non-turbo 300D?

I think the turbos ususally do a little better, although I'm not sure exactly why...Maybe you have to floor it a little less often with the turbo?
