W126 OM617a Timing Chain Tensioner Guide Misalignment

Hi,

Looking at my timing chain tensioner guide I noticed misalignment between the guide and the tensioner. I attached a photo below. I have a new part on the way because I will be redoing the timing chain anyway, but is this normal? If not, how is this corrected? Part appears to be OEM Mercedes with the part number and symbol.

Theseus owned a ship in Greek mythology, and when a part of the ship needed replacing, it was replaced. Eventually, everything was replaced. Is it the same ship? (I own the car of Theseus. )
