240D EGR
I have an 83 240D and was wondering if i can take that black box off by my throttle linkage since i Can't find an EGR on/around my engine. but i do not know if i can since i don't know if my car came from the factory with or without an EGR. if someone could help me know that would be appreciated. Thanks.
iv attached a pic of my engine in case that is needed.

EGR is mounted to the underside of the intake.
