Oil filter cooler line connection

On my 603 (1991 3.5L) the oil cooler line connection has an o ring at the filter canister. It’s looking like it’s starting to weep, is there anything to be concerned about in trying to fix this? I assume it’s just a matter of removing the two Allen bolts, pulling the line, and swapping the oring… but are there any other considerations to make?

Never seen one before.

Perhaps you could go to one of those Russian part sites and look at the exploded view of the parts and get a better idea what is there.

The EPC shows the lines, it shows the o ring. I even have the o rings which I bought from the Classic Center.

The question was really what I might expect in extracting the lines and the old Oring since it’s a hot location, and ai want to prep it right, since Indont want them leaking!

I am guessing you want to know if the threads are going to strip. I have not read about that one way or another.

My guess would be if it is oily down their oil has soaked into the threaded areas.

For sure put a catch pan below to catch the oil that is going to come out.

Sorry I can't help but you have my best wishes.
