Sls high pressure hose options
On a 300td. I know the other seller has a kit for 165$. That seems high and I’d
Like to find a suitable hose to insert old fittings. Local hose shop said refitting old fittings would leak.There method is about 2-250&. From what I’ve read , rebuilding works well for most people without leaking or bursting So what’s a good replacement hose?

Are your fittings crimped to the hose, or smooth with wrench fittings?

Either way, rebuilding the lines with gates g6 hose i have done it, and it isnt that difficult.

For the most recent one I rebuilt, I had to call several hydraulic shops and visit several others before I found a hose that would work. I did eventually, though. What I learned is that the pressures are not that high and there are thinner walled hose products available that will work with those fittings.
