My 300SDL Pix

Hi all. Today is my birthday and to celebrate, I've given my MB a full detail. She looked so nice and shiny, I figured I'd share.

Only those familiar with a machine as fine as a diesel Benz would appreciate this old 265k mile beast...

Your looks nicer than mine, my paint is faded. Not a fan of the fender trim but to each his own.

Happy birthday and very sharp lookin' car!

I need to pony up the $$ to get my car detailed...I can't wax properly for love or money but, under some stuff, I think the paint on my '85 is close to perfect...

Happy b-day. Your car looks awesome! Also, your wheels look incredible. Are they original, were they repainted? How'd you get them looking so good?

Thanks for pumping up my ego, guys! It's so rare to have my car all cleaned and waxed, I just had to show somebody...

I have mixed feelings about the fender trim. I had 2 dings on the right front fender lip and thought the trim would cover it nicely, which it did.

My wheels were refinished last year. They are just the stock wheels that were sandblasted all the way down and redone including an extra layer of clear. I keep them clean (enough) by waxing them and using PS-21 gel wheel cleaner.

This time around, I used Meguiar's liquid 3-step cleaner/wax/polish process. Basically, you "wax" the car 3 times. It didn't take much time, as I used my orbital polisher...but I did use about 8 bonnets!

Anyway, thanks again for the compliments.

Try this......

I use Meguiars as well, however I find that putting a coat or two of the Mother's quick detailer makes the finish really shine.

Give it a shot.

Again, nice car.
