Squeeeek

Hi,

I've just noticed a squeeking sound that occurs around 1600 rpm - usually not on acceleration, but when there is no load on engine following acceleration. I'm pretty sure it's not the turbo, and doesn't seem to be the brakes either. The sound seems to be coming from the front - could it be the wheel bearings? If so, would it be odd for them to make noise within such a tight RPM range?

I'm not even sure this is something serious, but thought I'd throw it out to the more knowledgeable...which seems to be most everyone who posts...

Thanks,

Joel
