I have my tranny set to shift firmly, I like it that way for several reasons.

When it shifts at light throttle or downshifts in traffic (slow moving) there is some clunkage. There is some slop in the drivetrain, and I have low differential fluid, so I know there is some slack there too.

What should I be looking at in terms of U-joints, flex discs, etc?
