Tips for Changing Glowplugs on OM603
I recall viewing a similar topic last year, but my search didn't return any such results.
My dash glowplug light no longer comes on. I can hear the relay click off after 45-60 sec of having the key turned on. The strip fuse shows continutity. Also, the car doesn't seem to start hard at 40 degrees. I still need to check the glow plug resistance and dash bulb, but need to take a proactive approach. I know the glowplugs on the 603 is different than on a 617. More difficult maybe? In case the glowplug(s) need replaced, I'd appreciate any comments from someone who has done this. thanks in advance.
