Cabin vibration
I just replaced a motor mount, both motor shocks and shock mounts. I left the old mount on the passenger side because it looked good, and it looked really hard to get at.
With the new mounts, the cabin vibation is better, but still not gone. About 50,000 miles ago you couldn't tell there was a diesel engine in the car, the cabin was totally isolated. Now when I first start it up in the morning the wheel vibrates a bit and so does some interior trim. When I am stopped at a light I can feel high frequency vibration, enough to make the wheel vibrate as well. I thought the engine mounts would cure this 100% but infact it has cured it only 70%. Any ideas?
