Stupid valve adjustment question....

Okay, planning on adjusting the valves tomorrow in my 84'300D and I started disassembly. How do you disconnect the throttle linkage without disturbing the lengths of all the little ball-link pushrods??? Help, thanks, RT

I use a flat blade screwdriver and just pop em off. The lengths should not change unless you loosen the little locknut and turn the end part. Make sure you clean and lube prior to reassembly.

Those ball-joints just pop apart? I gotta try that. Doesn't seem like it would work but if you say so.... Thanks, RT
