Is the Center Console Lighting on my 240D burned out? Or is that they way it runs? There is absolutely no lighting on my 1983 240D center console--Defrost, Power Antenna, Rotary Heater buttons, its totally dark.

Does anyone know what size bulbs I need and how I can order them?Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this?Any hints, ideas, thoughts, suggestions?

I would start by pulling the panel out where you control the hvac system. You should find little bulbs and the wiring connection for it. See if everything is intact then start troubleshooting.
