Sending unit in; gauge still wavering
I got the sending unit nice and cleaned up. Prior to installing it in the car, I tested it and it appeared to be working fine.
However, after installing it and starting the car up, even with the car sitting at idle (it's still on jackstands  ), the gauge wavered as it had before. For the most part, it's showing about 1/4 full, and the reserve light is lit...Any ideas on what else to check? I'm 99.99% sure that the sender's fine... Thanks in advance!
