All hail Robert Bosch!
4 new Bosch glowplugs....immediate firing off al the cylinders as it came to a nice smooth idle in my 40 degree garage....I am going to leave outside another day (tonight is 7 degrees...no way) but on a day thats like 10-18 overnight I'll try out the new plugs. They were much more impresive than the champion plugs I took out lol.

Kyle, Congratulations!!
My wifes Jetta started this morning after sitting outside all night. Put new Bosch plugs in about 6 months ago, running synthetic Rotella. Low temp last night was 3 DEGREES!! Car started instantly, and I do mean instantly, like 1second of cranking. Gotta have good plugs. I don't think you will have any trouble now. RT

cold start
I started my 300SD yesterday morning, it was 7 degrees F and the car was not plugged in. It really helps to have good glow plugs and to run synthetic oil.
Ditto on the "All hail Robert Bosch!" I did notice on the most recent purchase of Bosch glow plugs that they were made in France. Does anyone know if you can still get German made Bosch plugs?
