Oil Question

NO WARS PLEASE. Simple question, is mobil 1 15W-50 that can be found virtually every where (autozone anyway) as good as Mobil Delvac-1 for diesels? The delvac is sometimes hard to get. Back of the mobil-1 said ok for diesel. Don't want to underlube my old beast.
