Why I'll probably never buy a Topsider
Got around to changing my oil today. Put it up on the ramps, pulled the plug, and let it drain. Everything going smoothly.
While the oil is draining, I'm crawling around and checking things out. Need to replace some suspension parts sometime in the future, etc. And then guess what I spot. A severed vacuum line. Right in front of the tranny. I'm not sure how long I've been driving around like this, because it shifts pretty smoothly after it has warmed up. Regardless, it has to be tended to... Moral of the story: Get underneath your car! |

I agree. Isn't that the reason we change the oil in the first place? :-)

Owning a topsider doesn't prevent you from checking under your car just gives you a broader range of convenience.
Case in point ever have to change your oil and weather conditions or whatever prevents you from crawling under, its nice to have the option. |
