On your issue with the brakes, the shop might mean that you have a rubber brake flex hose about to let go. If so, replace ALL FOUR at the same time.

thxs for all the feed back guys. i went under the car yesterday and did not see any leaks. so as far as i know right now the shop (custom mufflers) is trying to screw me. i suppose that happens when u take a nice mercedes in.

if the brake hoses is leaking that is not problem. the hose cost like 15 bucks so i can do that on my free time, and i have done it before so i am not worrying about that. as for the fuel lines. i don't see any leak at all. so i think they just made that up.

now lies my problem are the ball joints. i do notice the car shakes over 60 mph. i done some reading on this site and it looks like a job that i neither have time nor the place to do. and the quote from the place is around $350 for one side. money, i do not have now. is it safe to drive like this with loose ball joints for a while? i mean i do not notice anything when i am driving in town. its not gonna disconnect on me or anything will it? or please give me any advices for me to check on how bad they are.

thxs u all for being very helpful. this is a great forum with a lot of help. i as u can see, am still learning about these cars.
