Uhh, why did the guy not run his car for so long? Go check it out, depending on how much of it has rotted away, I'd offer $500 max!

Well...
This guy has over two hundred junk cars on his land. He drove this car a few weeks after he bought it and just added it to his collection of cars. I really think that it would take a lot to get it going but thought I might try anyway.
He said if I wanted to put a battery in it to crank it then he wouldn't mind. He felt confident that it would start and I could drive it home(3miles). We'll see. oilslick |

If it runs, give him $500 and be done with it. The nice thing about the old TD wagons is that if you buy a total banger you can still use it to haul dirty stuff around in. I'm on the lookout for a W123 300TD (MUST be white with navy interior) to use as a service vehicle for my workshop. I am going to duplicate the MB service wagons. I don't want one in mint condition obviously, as I would surely beat it up hauling tools and other stuff around in it, of course at the same time I don't want a total junker.
