Which parts from 1979 300SD will fit 1985 300D?
I have a 1979 300SD parts car with some relatively new parts (motor mounts, brake rotors, brake hoses, and a few others). I also have a few extra air and oil filters for the 300SD. How can I determine whether these parts will fit the 1985 300D that I just bought?

My daughters boyfriend needed a master cylinder for his '80' SD so we robbed one off my "80' 240d parts car and it was the same. I think you'll find allot of things that inner change. Good luck

Just about everything will cross over. The only thing different that comes to mind is that the 300SD engine doesn't have an EGR valve as would the '85 D. I don't think the motor mounts will work, due to the D being a different chassis. The filters would be the same.
