interior color question
My 300TD was custom ordered from Germany with Inca Red and ivory-colored LEATHER seating. However, are my plastic trim pieces and carpet probably still Palomino or are they going to be something different to match the leather?
After all these years, dirt and fading, it's hard to tell the real color, actually, but I'd like to replace the carpet and trim and I'm not sure which color to go with. Is there an interior trim code as there is with paint and, if so, where do I find it? |

Interior Color
I dont know about interior color codes. But Ivory color was probably know at parchment (off white) and the inteior plastic parts would be parchment as well.

Ok, I've found what I think is the code...
It says on my original window sticker "253 Beige Leather Upholstery".
So are the vinyl and plastic probably beige also? I haven't seen Palomino in person but my thought is that it's more of a camel color... |

Yes, the plastic pieces should be the same color. When you order the new plastic trim be sure to give the dealer/parts house your interior color code. If you want more info you can also check out www.worlduph.com as they have online color samples for most cars. Be a bit careful because the exact colors may be different depending upon the color tint of your computer monitor. This will give you a good feel for the differences though.
