Manuals? Which to buy?

As a brand new 300SD owner, I am eager to order maintenance and repair manuals. Would prefer to do it on eBay. Any suggestions as to which are the best manuals? What about those on CD?

How come some manuals on eBay getting lots of bids, but others no one touchles like the plague?
