Hi all,
I've always had an oil leak with the 84 so I figured it was time to clean it and investigate. I checked it after 15 miles, 30 miles, then cleaned it again and checked after another 6miles of driving. First 15 it puddled a little on the tranny, mainly wet back there, a little was on the rear passenger side of the block. After 30 miles the tranny was pretty well covered in it, and the side of the block was soaked and probably dripping again. After cleaning it again I see that mainly the whole leak is at the rear of the motor where the block meets the head, some oil also leaks at that same seam around the corner of the motor. Upon inspection with a mirror the turbo feed line seems pretty well like new, everything from there and above is perfectly dry. Any ideas or suggestions? Should I try to tighten the headgasket or will this only create more problems and should be avoided?
