Wiper Linkage ???????

I have a 83 300D and the wiper linkage has come loose, it looks like it is a pressed fit??? I have tried to press it back together and it came apart again..and it would be the drivers side.., is it time for new linkage from Parts Shop?? please help, thanks

Had this problem on my wifes 380sec and you are correct, it is time for a new one.
