Replacing a line fuel

I will be replacing a line fuel on my 380 sl.

Since the original line from the dealer has the fitting bigger than the one in my car, I took them to a hydraulic shop repair and they put the old fittings in the new one line.

My questions, is this o.k. (safe) will not leak, how much pressure a line fuel takes?

Any help will be apprecieted.

Thank you
Ricardo
