Egr Valve
I take it THIS is the EGR valve. Plugging it of is a good idea right? Thin metal plate under the 2 bolt flange should do it no???

Just remove and/or plug the vacuum line going to the EGR.

I made a plate out of 1/16" aluminum. I just used the gasket as a pattern and cut it with tin snips then drilled the bolt holes. Works great and really seals the EGR port. Plugging the line works only if the EGR valve is closed. My valve was stuck open a bit but with the plate it doesn't really matter. RT
