My Daily GTG

As soon as someone supplies me with an email address, I'll forward a couple of pics of my five daily drivers (Just got the 5th one up and running). They need to be slightly cropped to fit on this forum. I don't have the ability.

Thanks

Don

Thanks R Leo:

I need to grow up and figure out how to get my digitals down to size. They work with Ebay but not with this forum.

Thanks again

Don

No prob...doncha just love a line of w123s? The only thing better would be a line of W116 diesels.

I regret not having the time to get a pic of SWMBO's sedan, my T-sedan and Seth's T-sedan when they were all in the same town at the same time.

116's would be cool.

in the first pic, you'll see a distant fence. behind that are the two parts cars. thought the neighbors we're going to kill me so i hid them with a fence.

You can download an evaluation copy of PaintShop Pro online. And without too much trouble, I'm sure you could find a keygen code for the program as well. PSP will let you resize your pictures...and much, much more.

Matt:

Thanks for the tip. Also, it was your list of "how to improve performance" on the D-T's that got me going on working on these things. Remember the days of "what in the heck is a banjo bolt?"

Anybody knows they're found at the hardware store right next to the high performance bumper bolts

Hey, I went through the exact same thing when I had a Euro 300D badged as a turbo diesel. It was a normally-aspirated 617 engine with an aftermarket intercooled turbo. I thought it very impressive until I learned that the turbo did absolutely nothing except weigh the car down, to say NOTHING of the fact that this NA engine was not built to withstand the added heat/pressure of the turbo. You should have seen me pulling my hair out trying to find that (nonexistent) banjo bolt!

Okay, I'm a Texan, so here's my response: That's the most gosh durn prettiest thing I ever seen I'll tell ya what, five W123s... Now, if one day, my family was to win the lottery, I would go ahead and get me a W116, a W123, and when they come out, a VW Toureg diesel. That would be nice.
