Brake Bleeding Problem
I recently changed the brake master cyliner in my 82 240d. I bench bled it before putting it in. I then tried to bleed the brakes at each wheel with an assistant pumping the pedal.
The problem is that no fluid comes out of the nipples at all! I'm thinking 1. I bench bled the master cylinder wrong and that air is in there somewhere. Moreover, when the pedal is pushed, the air is simply compressed? 2. There is major blockage in the nipples. It is worthy to note that the fluid was really old and dark when i emptied the old reservoir. What should I do? rodsob
