Brake Bleeding Problem

I recently changed the brake master cyliner in my 82 240d. I bench bled it before putting it in. I then tried to bleed the brakes at each wheel with an assistant pumping the pedal.

The problem is that no fluid comes out of the nipples at all! I'm thinking
1. I bench bled the master cylinder wrong and that air is in there somewhere. Moreover, when the pedal is pushed, the air is simply compressed?
2. There is major blockage in the nipples.

It is worthy to note that the fluid was really old and dark when i emptied the old reservoir. What should I do?

Are the brakes working? If you bench bled the master, theoretically you shouldn't need to bleed anything else. However, I second cleaning out the nipples.

Are you bleeding the rear calipers? If so make sure there's fluid in the rear reservoir by filling the master cylinder with as much fluid as it'll take and keeping the fluid level close to that while bleeding. The way the master cylinder is designed is that you need to fill it up all the way to the top to make the fluid overflow to the rear reservoir.

I'll second that. The opening to the rear reservoir on mine is a teeny tiny hole where the body of the reservoir joins the neck. You have to have fluid all the way up into the neck to get it to the back.
