want to do a seat swap in a 126

i want to get new front seats for my 300sd....what,if any, other chassis merc seats might bolt up in my car?? a set of sportline seats from a 500E would be pretty sweet,i think....also,if i cant swap different chassis seats, will all w126 seats fit other w126's???

the mounting brackets for all W126's should be the same, but the wiring is differant. If you feel comfortable more or less fabricating your own wiring harness for the seat(it's really not that hard), then you should be fine, you may loose your memory function if you have it though. I put 89 SE seats in my 300SD back when i had it...
