Success! Windshield sealed.

guys,

thanks for all the tips on how to reseal my rear windshield. by using 'borrowed' cleaning tools from work, i was able to clean and seal the bottom corners of the rear windshield.

the 'borrowed' tools are now back at work being sterilized as we speak. just think about it, the next time you go to the dentist, they could be using the same tools that scraped out 20 years of windshield plaque. plaque is plaque wherever you go i guess.

JT

Good Show.....I took my car in to the pros for the rear windshield fix, $45.00 and it still leaked. So you cleaned out under the rubber real good and used what to seal it? I dont even want to think about going to the dentist for any reason

A scene from the Omega Man comes to mind here.

None really...they can both be replaced. I'd prefer to keep mine original though.

the local watering hole usually gets crowded with people avoiding I-40 on a friday afternoon. they're the smart ones.

being stuck in traffic in a manny tranny doesn't really count as one of my favorite things.

a hurricane it is for scott! a whiskey sour for me!

Right you are! I appreciate the correction. It's been a while since I saw the movie last. Now I won't sound like an idiot saying its from the movie Marathon Man instead of Omega Man. Now that I remember, I think Omega Man was the movie with Charlton Heston.

I'm a gin drinker.

Give me a Beefeater and tonic. With lime. In a low ball glass.
