your elves are bringing them here
Now I know a year ago I got my first fixer upper MBZ. I did not have a single metric bolt. Now I have buckets, cans bench top full of them. Not to mention starters alternators water pumps pistons turbo’s and on and on! I have no more room please tell the elves to leave the parts at your house. Thank you my wife’s going to kill me if any more come here.

I've been known to stick a bolt in a handy hole at the front of the engine compartment while working on a car then not being able to find it since it looks like it belongs there and I forgot I stuck it in there (old age).
Hey Warden are you the same warden from the Ford truck site? Brian

BTW, with the new thermostat and the new bolts and everything else, things seem happy so far. The car's warming up a bit more than it was before the thermostat failed (about 90°C instead of just above 80°C in cool weather), although that could be partially due to the fact that I still have only water in there. I'm letting the car cool down so that I can do one more flush, and then I'll put the "super" 6-8 hour flush compound in the car, and I should be ready to leave tomorrow morning. |
