Lots of MB- Unimogs in the P-Dakar. They are often in the top running in their catagory. Have been ever since the race started.

I think Unimogs are the only diesel powered Mercedes except for the big rigs . I was looking over the stats today and only found gas powered ML's in the 'car' category, all of the mercedes were way down in the standings. One bike I thought was cool was the 2WD Yamaha , it has a hydraulicaly driven front wheel that grabs when the rear wheel loses traction. It came first in a couple of early stages but is in 12th today.
