rear bumper trim hardware

Hi,

Can anyone give me some info on the hardware that is supposed to be under the rubber bumper trim that goes along the rear sides of the car? On mine, the rubber trim that wraps around the side is loose because the bracket that holds it tight is completely rusted. I also have some sort of an open seam there that allows water splashed up onto the car to slowly ooze into the car.

I know if I unbolt it from the inside of the trunk, itll crumble apart, and Ill not be able to put everything back together.

I didnt see any such parts on fastlane, but I really need them so I can take the trim off, paint some POR 15 under there and then spray some undercoating, and put it all back together.

Any info on the part, or a part number would be really great.

Also, info on how to actually remove those wrap around trim ends that go on the rear bumper to the side of the car would also be really great.

Thanks,

JMH

Did you check performance products? While their prices are probably steep they more than likely have it.

If I recall correctly there are two obvious bolts in the trunk, and one not so obvious one which bolts to the other metal bracket going down the middle.
