Dash lights: Part # for W123
Is this the correct Mercedesshop PN for dash lights for my 84 300TD T? I am looking at 4B300-24144. This'll tell you how many times I've had the dash apart: how many do I need to just replace them all while I'm in there?
Thanks! Chris

I have my dash out from my 1980 W123 240D to upgrade it to white gauges. It appears that #194 bulbs work great for the dash lights and #73 bulbs for all those little tiny bulbs used elsewhere on the dash. I am going to try #194 LEDs (with 4 LEDS in each bulb) for the dash to see how they work.

Dash Lights
I forgot in my last reply to tell you that you can pick up #73 and #194 bulbs at any automotive store. I think there are only 2 #194 bulbs to light up the gauges but there are about 12 #73 bulbs for the all the various lights on your dash including the heater knobs.

NO NO!!! Do NOT use incandescent 194 bulbs - they fit but are the WRONG wattage. Sylvania #2821 is the correct bulb (it is the OEM one.)
