The truckstop where I usually fuel up is currently at $1.459, up from a low of $1.299 in the past while. It has mainly hovered around $1.35-1.39 for the last 6 months at least now.
Unl regular 87 at the same place is $1.459 as well. for the last number of months 87 unl has been trailing diesel by a few cents, most likely due to the road taxes.

I am in So Ca also....saw Union 76 premium at $2.55
So the $1.95 I am paying for diesel seems cheap.

1.79 here on the NH seacoast...And the fuel quality is TERRIBLE!

I have set new lows for both my diesels...Get this... 21 mpg in the 300SDL and 23 mpg in the 350. I know I have a heavy foot but that kind of mileage is ridiculous. I almost can't live with it. I'm going broke, here!

Then I think about all the poor 560 people out there who could only DREAM about such economy.:p

diesel prices

it's been going up here on the north shore as well. from 1.56 to 1.76 in a couple weeks. grrr
lately been using Hess which seems a decent quality, as the mpg's have not been deteriorating as bad as last year (Citgo).

I filled up yesterday for $1.85/gallon in the same station in Glendale CA that charged $1.71/gallon two days earlier. My 110 mile round-trip daily commute takes me past a number of stations in both Los Angeles and Ventura counties that show diesel prices either just under or just over $2.00 per gallon.

latest mpg result using Hess diesel and these freezing temps.
mix of hwy/town driving 300 miles on 11.726 gal = 25.58 mpg.
imho, great considering the conditions
