300/350SDL Accessories
Not that I'm in the market for another car right now, but...
I've been keeping my eye on 300/350SDL's on eBay and elsewhere, mostly to get a feel for the current market prices and also in the hopes of finding one in my area to test drive. Since I'm currently driving a 560SEL, I've gotten used to some of the extras on that car that, from the auction pictures I've seen, don't appear to have been available on the diesels. In particular, I'm thinking of the heated seats (front or rear), the reclining rear seat, and the self-leveling rear. Were any of these offered in the diesel long-wheelbase W126's? If I can't at least find one with heated seats, my wife would never let me make the switch. jlc

Seat warmers couldn't possibly be that big of a deal to add to an existing car.

I have an '86 300 SDL with front and rear heated rear seats and rear reclining seat. It does not have the self-leveling rear Tom '82 SD '86 SDL |
