Injection pump leaking oil on 300D....

In looking for a car for my friend, I came across a very clean 85 300D.

The car runs real good although I noticed it stalls if you drive real slow and suddenly let go of it.

I noticed that it is leaking oil from behind/around the inj pump.

Would that cause it to stall like that? I was thinking of possible vacumm leak.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Remember it has a vacuum pump, completely different beast than a gasser. If there is a vacuum leak then it'd just keep on running like nothing was wrong.

It is leaking where the IP meets the block? That gasket can be a pain to change, if you're lucky it is just a little to loose.
