can't believe my ears - E320 CDI
Started up a new (still in the wrappers) E320 CDI at the local dealer today. The engine is incredibly quiet but still has enough of that diesel chatter to satisfy us diehards. It sounds like they've buried it under some serious insulation. Still a nice straight six, fits squarely under the bonnet. 3 were on the lot, 2 unsold were metallic blue and silver. Optioned up to around $58k on sticker. The white one with no options was at $51k. I love my 210 but that CDI sounds soooooooo good. ARGH
