can a late 126 ACC PBU be resoldered?
I read BoostnBenz's instructions on resoldering an ACC PBU -
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?threadid=86958 My SDL's ACC and bulb out warning have been quirky so I thought I'd give resoldering a shot. I removed the lower cover of the PBU and saw a PCB with a bunch of solders. Is there a way to remove this board to get to the innards? Seems like the mode buttons and other things attached to the hidden side of the PCB won't let it come off. Any ideas? The light control relay is more straightforward. I thought I'd find something loose because sometimes the bulb out light comes on after a hard turn. It looks perfectly good but I wouldn't know a bad solder joint if it bit me. I plan to melt each solder joint and let it set. Is there anything else I should do while I have these things out and apart? Thanks, Sixto 95 S420 87 300SDL |
