E300D values

Since the intro of the E320CDI, I have counted over 60 1999 E 300Ds for sale at one time, in places like ebay, autotrader etc. Not to mention almost as many 1998s. Currently the prices are somewhat holding up at the wholesale level avg 20k for low mile car. I would expect these cars to fall rather rapidly like the E320 gas cars have done now that the E320cdi is available. The E320 gas car 98-99 are selling for 5k behind wholesale book at some auctions. So get ready next six months will present some excellent diesel buying opportunites.
