'85 300D Coupe

Looked at and talked to the owner of a W123 coupe today with 109,000 miles on the clock, he bought the car new while in Germany. No dents or dings, he has always had it serviced at MB dealer, never wrecked. It was kind of light or pale pea green color and was fullly loaded with auto, power windows & locks, sun roof.

Talked like he was about ready to sell the car due to age and high mileage, so I ask if he would give me a call if he decided to sell the car. He took my name and phone and said I would be hearing from him.

When he turned the key it started without a GP wait and purred like a kitten, it was quiter then my 240D. Then off he went with no smke from the tailpipe. I would guess his age as early to mid to mid 70's.

Any idea's what a car like that is worth?

Depends on where you live, but probally $5,000 tops, and maybe $2,000-$3,000 would be a steal...
