Will this starter fit my 240D ??? it's from Ebay

Wondering if this bigger turbo starter would fit my 240D (1983)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7910006670&category=33576&sspagename=WDVW

Thanks....

Kamil

Your car is not listed in the description the seller gave... so I don't think it would fit...

Those aren't the engine you have. It'll fit the block with the aluminum head. My starter is broken on my SDL. Do you mind if I bid on it?

For future reference your late model 240 engine is a 616...
617 starts the 5 cylinder engines...
617.952 is a typical Turbo 5 cylinder
